A Lithium Mine in China Hot Auction: The Bid Has Exceeded 124 Million RMB
Regarding the identity of the bidders, there is a lot of news in the market, which does not rule out the possibility of domestic first-line lithium salt enterprises and downstream power battery leaders participating in the auction.
EU plans more rooftop solar
On May 17, the European Commission wants half of its energy to come from renewables by 2030, more than double the current level. The total cost of achieving this will be in the hundreds of billions of euros, but it will also save 84 billion euros in imported fuel annually.
One of the proposal’s recommendations is to “introduce an obligation to install rooftop solar installations on all new buildings and all existing buildings with energy performance class D and above (the most energy consuming)”
Low carbon demonstration
Shanghai’s new energy development plan will deploy a low-carbon demonstration zone in Chongming
On May 15, the Shanghai Municipal Government released a new plan for Shanghai’s energy development, placing equal emphasis on the rapid development of low-carbon energy and low-carbon utilization of high-carbon energy, and continued to promote the optimization of the energy structure.
The “Plan” proposes to promote green and low-carbon transformation in key energy-using fields. Continue to promote energy conservation in key areas such as industry, construction, transportation, and public institutions, and focus on green manufacturing, green buildings, and green transportation to promote energy-saving, low-carbon, and circular development.
The “Plan” proposes to lay out four major energy innovation demonstration areas, including the layout of wind, solar, gas storage demonstration areas, comprehensive smart energy demonstration areas, high-level cold energy utilization demonstration areas, and low-carbon development demonstration areas.
FAW PV power station
95% self-consumption, FAW put the photovoltaic power generation project into operation again
With the issuance of the grid connection order, the distributed photovoltaic power generation project of FAW Vehicle Division was officially put into operation and generated electricity. This project is another star project of FAW green electricity carbon reduction, and it is one of the important measures taken by FAW to actively respond to the implementation of the national strategic goal of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality” and China FAW carbon plan.
The project plans and installs the photovoltaic system in advance in the plant planning and design stage, and simultaneously implements the photovoltaic part of the project in the plant construction stage, minimizing the impact of the photovoltaic construction process on the planned production of the plant.
The installation capacity of the project is 9.4MW. It mainly uses the rooftop of the new production plant and parking shed of the vehicle department, and builds distributed photovoltaic power stations and photovoltaic car sheds, so as to realize “self-generated and self-use, and surplus electricity is connected to be on-grid”, and the proportion of self-generated and self-use is more than 95%, which provides comprehensive green energy solutions to the factory building.
During the next 25 years of operation, it is estimated that the total power generation will be about 212.299 million kWh, the average annual power generation will be 8.49 million kWh, the standard coal consumption will be saved by 84,900 tons, the sulfide emissions will be reduced by about 6,369 tons, the nitrogen emissions will be reduced by about 3,185 tons, 211,700 tons of carbide emissions were reduced, with significant economic and social benefits.
